SERVICES INCLUDED IN MONTHLY RENT

Rent is privately paid on a month-to-month basis and depends on the size of the apartment. Rent includes all meals, utilities (except phone, cable, and internet), weekly light housekeeping, weekly laundry service, weekly bathing assistance, scheduled transportation to and from doctor appointments and administering prescribed medication.

Residents are encouraged to bring their own furnishings to decorate their apartment. If they do not want to bring their furnishings we have model apartments in which the furnishing can be bought or rented. Residents may bring in microwaves, mini refrigerators, radios and televisions, however they must be U.L. approved and inspected by the Director

Residents are also encouraged to decorate their apartments according to their personal taste and style. The director can address any decorating questions you may have and we are pleased to help in any way.

Physical Environment and Design Features:

Our facility is brand new in 2004 and and is equipped with door alarms on all doors. Each room is equipped with a nurse call system. The building was designed so whoever is at the nurse station can monitor all doors to the facility. The building was also constructed to the upmost standards in safety and fire protection. Our home has a home-like atmosphere where residents will feel comfortable and safe. We would have it no other way.

Activities:

Lakeview Assisted Living has many activities to choose from. We offer Bingo, Board Games and Puzzles plus card games such as Cribbage, Bridge and Snooker. We have weekly musical entertainment in various forms. We have a weekly movie night and various other activities. As always, residents are encouraged to bring their own methods of entertainment and allow other residents to learn something new.

We have weekly "Chair" excercise classes. All residents are encouraged to take walks around our 4 acre facility by the bay and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Any suggestions at all can be made to the Director at any time.
